Hi Invisibles of the night.
I must say that, although Hive is still quite small and there are still few communities that fill my feed, the amount of content uploaded every day is enormous, a sign of a very active platform, full of people who want to do things, share their experiences and interact with others.
ATTENTION: this blog post is taken from my blogging profile on PeakD, a web3 frontend built on the Hive blockchain, where creators earn crypto by posting original content. That's why you will encounter words regarding a specific audience of that platform. If you're interested to know how it works, reach me HERE

Hive - a little treasure -
What I like so much is the authenticity and spontaneity with which people share their interests and activities. As you know, my main platform is currently Instagram and the comparison is inevitable.
Wandering through Peakd makes me feel like I've flown to the other side of the world. In a wild and unexplored continent, full of resources yet to be discovered, where each person seeks a way to build their life by following only a few simple common sense rules. Here, users are free from the chains of algorithms that promote ruthless competition and kill creativity in favor of the current trend.
If I must be honest, one shock I have yet to get over here is witnessing how some people upload content with raw spontaneity, regardless of the quality of photos and videos, without stupid filters, or trying to replicate some stupid trend. It seems like we have returned to the origins of social media, to Myspace, Netlog and the first Facebook.
The insanely search for perfection
We are used to seeing every perfect photo, every properly edited video. In web2, having high quality content - especially aesthetically - is only the starting point, the level zero. A new user approaching to Hive contents may say "what is this?" and laugh. Some may be disappointed and say that Hive isn't up to par yet.
But do you know what I see? I see freedom.
I see people who don't care and share for the pure pleasure of socializing. People free to be themselves, who break the chains of prejudice and shame.
Is it perhaps a coincidence that I am here and my music talks about this? To break chains, think with your own head, follow your passions, live your own life and not the life someone else tells you should live?

I don't believe in destiny. I believe that everyone builds their own paths. In the forest of life I encountered a wild path and a sign next to it that says "For Hive, this way" and I decided to follow this path, enjoying a view that is not defaced by advertising billboards and online shopping malls.
Am I right? What do you think about it? And is your approach different here than the web2 social medias? I'd like to know your experiences in the comments, thanks 😉
Have a good trip and always...
